How to make spaghetti sauce


Dice onion

Set burner on medium heat.

Set oven at 200-225 degrees.

Coat the bottom of pot with olive oil.

Add onion, cook for 3-5 min until slightly translucent.

Add sausage.

Brown for 2-3 min.

Add a tablespoon of garlic.

Add the wine. 3/4 - 1 cup.

Add diced tomatoes.

Add two cans crushed tomatoes.

Add 1/2 -3/4 can tomato paste.

Add crushed red pepper to taste.

Add oregano.

Add basil.

Add sugar to taste. About 1/2 to 1 teaspoon.

Add 1-2 bay leaves.

Cover pot and let simmer till a light boil.

Cover pot and place in oven at 200-225 degrees for 3-6 hours!
